"Sedmoye Nebo" ("Seventh Heaven") shopping and recreation center has been constructed by "Stolitsa Nizhny" Group on a river Volga bank in "Mescherskoye Ozero" residential neighborhood. With its total floor space of 75,000 sq m on the two floors, "Sedmoye Nebo" is the region's third largest shopping and recreation center, and the largest one on the lower bank of the river. The construction of the center started in January 2011. The center was opened on the 26th of April 2012.
This project managed by "Stolitsa Nizhny" Group provides retail space for many contemporary and popular operators. The anchor operators are "Auchan", "H&M", "Castorama" and "M.Video". In addition to multiple stores, "Sedmoye Nebo" shopping and recreation center is housing cafes and restaurants, a "FizKult" fitness center, a 10-screen "Cinema Park" multiplex for 2,050 moviegoers with the city's first IMAX movie theater. The unified interior space is organized with walking galleries; the entrances are accentuated by big stained glass windows. The improved surrounding territory and a parking space for 2,110 cars provides extra comfort to the shopping center customers and the neighborhood residents.
"Sedmoye Nebo" shopping and recreation center provides the residents of the lower part of Nizhny Novgorod with new possibilities for shopping and family oriented entertainment. The opening of the shopping center is an important move to developing the social and economic infrastructure not only of "Sedmoye Nebo" residential complex but of the whole "Mescherskoye Ozero" residential neighborhood too. The latter is advancing to become an area comfortable to live in.
